Jaran Tempest 184

I worked as the chief designer developing the Jaran Tempest from 1995-1998. The goal was to design, build, certify (FAR-23) and manufacture light-aircraft that would outperform the current, aging fleet of aircraft (developed mostly in the 50's) at a fraction of the cost. By using modern manufacturing technologies, we were able to create an airframe that cost a fraction of both traditionally built aluminum aircraft and modern all-composite aircraft.
